Heal at Your Pace
Trauma changes the way you see yourself and the world — but it doesn't have to define your future. Family Healthcare offers compassionate, trauma-informed care with licensed therapists who specialize in helping people process what happened and reclaim their lives. $50 per visit. For most qualifying patients.
A Safe Place to Process What Happened
Trauma-informed therapists who work at your pace — no pressure, no re-traumatization. Just a consistent, skilled provider in your corner as you work toward healing.
Trauma isn't just about what happened. It's about what it's doing to you now.
Trauma can come from a single event or accumulate over years. It doesn't require a diagnosis to be real — and you don't have to meet anyone's definition of "bad enough" to deserve support. If it's affecting your life, that's enough.
You came to the right place.
Trauma responses aren't a sign of weakness — they're your nervous system doing exactly what it was designed to do after something overwhelming happened. The problem is when those responses don't turn off, even when you're safe.
Trauma treatment is not about reliving what happened. It's about working with a skilled therapist to process it in a way that gradually reduces its hold over your daily life — at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
At Family Healthcare, your trauma is treated with the seriousness and sensitivity it deserves. No one will push you faster than you're ready to go.
What's Included in Your Trauma Treatment
Trauma-informed therapy, PTSD treatment, psychiatric support, and a provider who goes at your pace — every step of the way.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Your therapist will use evidence-based approaches specifically designed for trauma — including trauma-focused CBT and other proven methods — to help you process difficult memories without being overwhelmed by them.
LCSW · CMHCPTSD Treatment
Post-traumatic stress disorder responds well to specialized treatment. Your provider will assess your PTSD symptoms and build a structured plan to reduce flashbacks, hypervigilance, avoidance, and emotional reactivity over time.
Evidence-Based PTSD CarePsychiatric Support
When medication is part of the picture — for sleep, anxiety, hypervigilance, or depression related to trauma — our APRN or PMHNP-BC can evaluate and manage it alongside your therapy for coordinated, comprehensive care.
APRN · PMHNP-BCSafety & Stabilization First
Before processing trauma, your therapist will help you build the safety and coping skills you need to handle difficult emotions without being destabilized. Healing is a process — not a sprint.
You're Always in ControlKetamine-Assisted Therapy
For trauma-related depression and PTSD that hasn't responded to traditional treatment, ketamine-assisted therapy is available. Ask your provider whether it may be an appropriate option for your situation.
Advanced Option AvailableLong-Term Support — As Long as You Need It
Trauma healing is rarely linear. There are setbacks, breakthroughs, and plateaus — and your care team will be there through all of it. Whether you need intensive support in the beginning or occasional check-ins as you build your life back, Family Healthcare is here for the long haul.
We're With YouYou survived it. Now let's help you heal from it.
Trauma doesn't heal on its own — and time alone doesn't erase it. Without treatment, the nervous system stays stuck in survival mode, and the effects of trauma keep showing up in your relationships, your sleep, your reactions, and your sense of self.
Trauma-focused therapy works. Research consistently shows that people who receive proper trauma treatment experience significant reductions in PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, and physical health problems related to chronic stress.
You don't have to keep managing on your own. Reaching out for trauma support is one of the most courageous things a person can do — and the providers at Family Healthcare are ready to meet that courage with the care it deserves.
A Safe, Consistent Relationship
Healing from trauma happens in the context of a safe, trusting relationship with a provider who shows up consistently and meets you with patience and skill — every session.
Trauma-Specific Approaches
General therapy isn't always enough for trauma. Our providers use approaches specifically designed for trauma and PTSD — not generic talk therapy applied to a specialized problem.
You Set the Pace
Trauma treatment at Family Healthcare is always paced to what you're ready for. Your therapist will never push you into material you're not prepared to handle.
$50 Per Visit
Trauma is already costly enough. At $50 per visit for most qualifying patients, quality trauma care is accessible to anyone who needs it in the St. George community.
