Dr. Mahana Fisher, MD
Dr. Mahana Fisher is the Medical Director for Family Healthcare. Dr. Fisher comes to us with great knowledge and experience. Dr. Fisher is a Family Practice Physician, who graduated from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine in 1997. He was the Medical Director for Blue Mountain Hospital and also worked at the Blanding Family Practice CHC.
Dr. Fisher enjoys St. George and the outdoor activities here. He enjoys both hiking and cycling.
William Christensen, NP-C
Associate Medical Director
Will Christensen is a certified family nurse practitioner and completed his training at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. Will was born and raised in St. George, Utah and is glad to be working and living in his hometown. Will has been with Family Healthcare since 2014 and previously has worked in spine care and sleep medicine specialty clinics. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
Will loves spending time with his wife and 4 children. He enjoys gardening, working in his yard, hunting, golfing, and playing tennis.
Dr. Trevor D. Page, DO
Dr. Trevor D. Page is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician. Dr. Page is originally from Cedar City, UT and completed his medical training at the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Page completed his residency at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Page enjoys fishing, soccer, and basketball. He is married and has three children that keep him very entertained.
Shauna McBride, PA-C
Shauna McBride is originally from the state of Washington. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. She has experience working in family practice and internal medicine clinics and in nursing home facilities. She lived in Chile for 1-1/2 years and is bilingual. Her interests include reading, traveling, backpacking, camping, and spending time with family.
Luke Swank, PA-C
Luke Swank grew up in Pinedale, Wyoming and moved with his family to Cedar City, Utah when he was in high school. After graduation, Luke served an LDS mission in Portugal, starting his love for other cultures and languages. Upon return, he completed a degree in Zoology at Southern Utah University. Luke completed his master’s degree at the University of Colorado’s Physician Assistant Program with an emphasis in pediatrics and a Child Health Associate designation. In 2015, Luke joined Family Healthcare and enjoys his patients and working with the staff. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
Luke is married to his sweetheart, Lindsey, and has two children. They enjoy doing activities together including traveling, hiking, camping, movie watching, and playing sports and board games. Luke volunteers as a hockey and baseball coach in his free time.
Karen Whittemore, FNP
Karen Whittemore was born in Maryland and raised in Salt Lake City. She moved to Cedar City to go to school at SUU on a theatre scholarship. She later discovered the nursing program offered through Weber State University’s outreach program and earned her RN associates and bachelors degree and worked as a nurse on the medical/surgical floor at Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City. In 1998 she earned her master’s degree in the Science of Nursing and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She spent 6 years in pediatrics practicing at Valley View Pediatrics and then moved on to family practice in 2006 and has been practicing at the Cedar City Clinic.
She is a singer/songwriter on the side and has recorded 2 CDs and enjoys performing with her band Love Creature. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, going for walks in the evening with her husband, and yoga.
Betty Gould, FNP-BC
Betty Gould is a board certified family nurse practitioner with the Family Healthcare team. She was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Southern California. Betty has a wealth of nursing experience, including industrial (occupational health) nursing, acute and emergency care, and case management. She has practiced many years across various health care settings and enjoys working with all of her patients in family medicine.
Betty likes spending time with family, gardening, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and photography.
Dorian T. Webb, DNP, A.P.R.N., NP-C
Dorian T. Webb was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but has lived in St. George, Utah for over 19 years and considers it home. He earned his Associate’s and Bachelor’s of Nursing from Dixie State College and worked as a registered nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Dixie Regional Medical Center. He graduated from the University of Utah with his Doctorate of Nursing Practice. He lived in Chile, which helped him become bilingual in Spanish. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, serving in his church, playing sports, and participating in outdoor activities.
Blake Gutierrez, DDS
Dr. Blake Gutierrez is happy to be providing oral health care in our St. George Dental clinic. He is originally from Orem, Utah and loves being from Utah. Dr. Blake attended BYU for undergraduate education and graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he lived and worked in New Mexico, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of New Mexico. Although he is surrounded by beautiful red rocks, his favorite pastime is traveling across the nation! He strives to be service oriented and is constantly looking to help those around him. Not to mention, he loves to make people smile, literally! We hope you meet him soon!
Ari Mendez, LCSW
Ari Mendez is originally from Guatemala and came to USA in 1981; and has resided in the state of Utah ever since. Ari’s practice has been mainly in mental health and substance abuse. His personal interests include hiking, reading self-help books, and watching inspirational movies. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
Elijah Fielding, MPH, PA-C
Elijah Fielding was raised in Southern Utah. He completed his undergraduate degree at Dixie State University. He earned dual master’s degrees in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) and Public Health (MPH) from Touro University California. This university provides one of only a few programs in the country that offers this combined focus of study. Elijah is committed to increasing access to quality, culturally competent healthcare for all individuals within our community. He is fluent in Spanish.
Living with congenital heart disease, Elijah was a patient long before he became a medical provider. He believes in establishing a collaborative, long-term patient-provider relationship. Through such relationships, Elijah and his patients can maintain or achieve meaningful and productive lives through physical, mental, and social well-being.
Elijah enjoys any and all outdoor activities with his family, riding his Triumph motorcycle, and learning new things that make him a better medical provider.
Seth Hurd, NP
Seth grew up in Central Oregon. He spent his winters on the mountain snowboarding and the summers on the mountain rock climbing. After high school he served a mission for the LDS church in Peru for two years. He spent most of his time in Lima and the Amazon Jungle. After Peru he attended BYU-I and obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. He then went to Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington. There he obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He enjoys working with patients from diverse backgrounds and finds satisfaction in helping people achieve optimal holistic health. He looks forward to getting to know you and your family.
Selene Flores, RDH
Selene Flores has lived in Southern Utah for 12 years and loves what the area has to offer. She decided to become a dental hygienist after working as a hygiene assistant in Laverkin, Utah. She then attended the dental hygiene program at Dixie State University. During that time, she became intrigued at the true meaning of being a hygienist. Since then, she has provided hygiene services to the community and has cherished the work of being a dental hygienist.
